Slavin’s doing here with his acrylics. "Like a Virgin" is *essentialreading for all Banks devotees; it is an excellent story in its own right, but it also tells the story of Banks' move from London to Yorkshire; it includes Banks' first meetings with Gristhorpe and "Dirty Dick" Burgess; and it explains how Banks got the scar near his eye. I just love this series.
